Monlife App
BEFORE
AFTER
At MonLife, I had the privilege of spearheading the redesign of the MonLife app, a project that stands as one of my most significant achievements to date. This overhaul was necessitated by the transition to a new content management system, prompting a complete makeover of the app's interface and functionality.
The previous iteration of the app presented several design challenges that needed to be addressed. Overreliance on generic stock images and a blocky layout contributed to a clunky and uninviting user experience. Additionally, MonLife's brand identity the navigation system was lacking, making it difficult for users to access vital information such as class descriptions and leisure centre details.
With these issues in mind, my design process prioritized several key objectives. Firstly, I aimed to minimize the use of stock images and instead focus on creating a visually engaging interface that reflected the vibrant spirit of MonLife. Secondly, I sought to streamline the app's navigation, ensuring that users could effortlessly book classes and access relevant information with ease.
Central to achieving these objectives was the incorporation of modern and descriptive icons, which served as intuitive visual cues to guide users to the desired sections of the app. By leveraging the distinctive MonLife colour scheme and wave elements, I created a cohesive and visually striking design that resonated with users and reinforced the brand identity.
The resulting redesign of the MonLife app, as depicted in the attached images, is a testament to the success of this approach. The clean and dynamic interface, coupled with improved functionality, has transformed the user experience, making it easier than ever for individuals to engage with MonLife's range of services and activities.
Overall, this project exemplifies my dedication to marrying form with function, resulting in a mobile app that not only looks great but also enhances the user journey and aligns seamlessly with the MonLife brand.
The app is available to download from both the android an apple store.
